Development Manager

Location: Oxted

Job Description: This position sits within the Cultural Development team at Tandridge Trust, which is responsible for developing Arts, Sports, Health and Wellbeing initiatives for communities in East Surrey and further afield through the South east.

Key responsibilities of the Development manager include:
- Seeking out and nurturing partnership working with other agencies and organisations
- Negotiating and making applications to external funding sources
- Leading on multi-partner arts and health projects
- Managing the arts and sports coordinators

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, very good with detail, a completer-finisher, a fantastic communicator who can network and make connections and importantly someone who can makes things happen! Experience of project management is important as is evidence of negotiating budgets and creating successful funding bids. Knowledge of the leisure, cultural or health sector is key. A driver with access to a car is very desirable. This post offers flexible hours with potential for some home working, there will be occasional weekend and evening work and you will be required to travel for some meetings and seminars.
The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Casual Party Host

Job description: Successful candidate will be required to set up and clean away parties, they will be required to meet and greet both the parents and children arriving for the party as well as ensuring the party runs smoothly ensuring the children have a fun and enjoyable time.

Candidate must be a confident and outgoing individual with the ability to supervise children in a controlled environment. Candidate will need to be able to think quick on their feet to organise party games and keep the children entertained throughout the party. Offer of employment is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Salary: £20 per party (Saturdays & Sunday parties only)

Job description: Watersafe swimming lessons are run by Tandridge Trust Leisure & Culture. Our swimming lessons are designed to teach all ages and abilities to be safe in and around the water.

Casual Leisure Assistant (lifeguard)

Location: Tandridge Leisure Centre & de Stafford Sports Centre

Job description: Successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the swimming pool ensuring all customers are safe and enjoy the facilities we have to offer. To ensure the cleanliness of the centre is maintained to a high standard whilst delivering excellent customer service. Ensuring all set ups for centre activities are completed in a timely fashion. Candidate must be a confident individual with the ability to give clear instruction to others as well as having strong customer service skills.

All applicants must already hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and will be required to attend a swim test and interview as part of the recruitment process.

Hours of work: 0 hour contract, shifts available at request

Salary: £5.31 per hour (21yrs and above meet NMW)
