How much does personal training cost?

· Personal Training at Tandridge Trust starts from as little as £29 per hour and does depend on the type of membership you hold.

· The most cost effective way of purchasing Personal Training is through one of our block cards.

What do I get from Personal Training sessions?

· Your personal training session will include one-to-one tuition throughout your workout to encourage you to perform at your best.

· Personal Trainers will maximise your workouts, following tailored programmes so you achieve your personal goals.

· Personal Trainers will a range of training equipment within the gym, sports hall (de Stafford Sports Centre) and Studio

How do I book a Personal Training session?

· You can book a personal training session through anyone of our personal training team. We offer a free consultation for anyone who is interested in Personal Training, or anyone wishing to gain some more information about how it works.

Do I have to perform a Fitness test?

· No, although it is preferable to have some form of fitness testing a regular intervals to monitor your progress

What if personal training seems quite expensive and I don’t have the time to commit?

· A Personal Trainer can see you as often or as little as you like, this could be once a week, every two weeks or once a month. By seeing your personal trainer at regular intervals, they will keep you focused on your goals and set you personalised workouts to perform until your next session.

When can I book a personal training session?

· Personal Trainers are flexible with their time, and you can book a mutually convenient date and time. This means that sessions can be available throughout the week, day or evening and also at weekends.

What happens when I reach my goals or if I find that personal training is not for me?

· With Personal Training there is no contract, so you may stop whenever it suits you.

· Alternatively when you achieve your goals, you may wish to reduce the number of sessions you have to keep your motivation and the results you worked really hard for.

Will the personal trainer know my limits?

· Your Personal Trainer is highly experienced and will set you small, achievable goals, using whichever training techniques work best, specific to you.

· Personal Trainers may also choose to use a heart rate monitor to make sure you are working at the right levels.

I sometimes feel intimidated by the gym or weight training

· There is an option of training within the studio and/or sports hall (de Stafford Sports Centre), depending on availability of those areas.

· Our trainers are very experienced in building upon individual’s confidence within the gym environment.

Are there any contra-indications or restrictions to Personal Training?

· You have to be a minimum of 16 years old to use a Personal Trainer at Tandridge Trust.

If you have a medical condition or injury (past or present), this may require some research before training can commence and will be discussed in your initial consultation.
