Arts & Culture

Tandridge Trust has an established arts and culture department which over the past 11 years has become recognised for providing excellent and inspiring arts opportunities for the local community and across the region. We work across all art forms, including dance, drama, craft, music, fine art, literature and other cultural areas such as heritage and countryside.  All our activities are run by carefully selected arts professionals, who hold current enhanced CRB disclosures and offer a wealth of experience to participants.

These pages should tell you more about the courses and workshops we run ourselves, the various projects we manage and how we support others in the community to ensure a healthy cultural offer in East Surrey for all tastes.

We work hard to:

  • Develop and promote arts and creative activity for general wellbeing, quality of life and bringing families and communities together
  • Support art makers, through advice, training and sharing best practice
  • Encourage learning of creative skills and nurture art makers of tomorrow
  • Educate and motivate others through participation in creative activity, using the arts as a tool for learning

We are always keen to hear from others who are interested in the arts and cultural activities, be it a local artist, business, student, audience member or someone who has an idea or suggestion for us.
